DJ Foureyes 0
OK then, how about next monday, January 15 at the Two Brewers in Chipperfield, which is just outside Watford http://www.twobrewers.com/ I've been told the food is good and there's good car parking, rather than us all wondering Watford town centre trying to find some dodgy bar! It's also not far from the M25 making it easier for those coming from the other side of the world such as essex! Full address: The Two Brewers The Common, Chipperfield, Kings Langley, Herts, WD4 9BS Tel: 01923 265266 Fax: 01923 261884 Email: info@twobrewers.com Anyone that was planning on coming have a problem with next Monday? Can I sneek in too? I'll be coming from the sunny climes of Isleworth-on-sea, just to see what you herberts look like :scared:

Eskie 0
Well as far as I know only Roy (Digital Distortion) turned up! we had a good chat anyway, BUT, the pub was pretty busy and we wore no identifying tags/clothes etc to indicate we were from DJU so I guess it's possible that others may have attended and had no idea who was from DJU and so left! additionally, there was virtually no signal in the pub (for mobile phones) so even if someone had mine or anyone elses mobile they couldn't have called! It might actually be worth (for situations like this) getting DJ A to produce a lapel badge. The logo is about the right size for one of these enamelled badges. How much could that cost? And it would be a way of promoting DJ A and showing others your affiliation!!! Food for thought? Oh dear, different venue next time then? Perhaps somewhere a little closer to civilisation might be appropriate...... Cheers! Roy B. Digital Distortion Disco (D3 Entertainments) See you around!

My appologies for my non-appearance but I am moving house this week and the Mrs wouldn't let me go! "Where are you going?" "To have a drink with some fellow DJs" "With all this to pack, you are disapearing, leaving ME to cope with ALL of this? You are so selfish............" Next week it's my turn for the trousers. smile icon

Maybe some of the guys on here might not be DJA members anyway.... What you should have done is had a hankie hanging out of your back trouser pocket and your left trouser leg rolled up past your knee with red lispstic on your knee cap.... Mind you depending on the venue you still might have had problems identifiying each other... lol Nik Niks Roadshow

Was a group of DJUers (in principal) who were going to meet...nothing official. The reason I mentioned DJ A is because there is a link between DJU and DJ A, and DJ A will eventually (I guess) be the physical front of this forum. Thats the way I read it anyway. Cheers! Roy B. UKHero 0
Do you???? I dont... I see them as quite different enterties one is there as a forum only and one is there as an organisation or association if you will that wants to get us all together to promote DJing in a pro and possative manner... I do feel that DJA might well progress (if given enough support) into an association that will be there to help DJs of all persuasions with DJ related issues.... Where as the forum is a place where we can network with our collegues in a sort of informal way.... Nik Niks Roadshow
