NiM 0
Hercules is alright. Bit fisher price looking but it does the job! You can use it just as a controller and leave the mixer bit up to your normal mixer (if you have the soundcard that outputs to 2 seperate channels). VDJ is alright, I like the video stuff! ian . 0
Any version of Virtual DJ can be used with the Hercules controller. Have a look on their forum if you've got any doubts about the software.
spirito 0
Take a look at the Behringer BCD2000 cost £109 mine arrived yesterday and I must say its a very good bit of kit, far better than the cheapo toy hercules. Its very well made and comes with Behringers DJ software which I must admit I havent used as I use mine with Traktor DJ Studio. The version of Virtual DJ that ships with the hercules is not the full version it is crippled in so many ways. The full Pro version of virtual DJ is pretty slick though and it plays karaoke and video as well which you can beat mix with. DJ James Lake & The Shokwaves Roadshow
Danno13 0
You can also use the DAC2 and DAC3 with Vitual DJ if you want something that fits nicely in a standard rack case. durbanite 0
I have been using vdj for quite some time now. I find it simplicity in itself and never had any probs with it.
olliesdiscos 0
I have also been looking at getting PCDJ - that looks better than the hercules offering - is it? If I went for the red version then would that work with my controller? Or is it best to eBay the controller and get the red PCDJ and save up for their controller?
