Once I have the time to do it, after xmas, after I have dome my accounts, probably in January. DJ Marky Marc 0 Posted December 13, 2006 Report Share Posted December 13, 2006 Why have some set ups got 2 sets of cd decks - as backup? not as realy as backup... the setup in the picture with the formular sound mixer is a Denon 4500 twin CD deck and what looks to me like a DAC controler for some computer DJ software totaling 4 stereo audio tracks... the setup in the picture with the DJ using the Denon S5000s has a Denon 1800F racked up with the mixer total again of 4 stereo audio tracks with 2 extra in alpha track mode making 6 posible tracks to play... Always nice to have a place to put a CD in a hurry or have 2 or 3 tracks cued up just incase you change your mind about what to play next...... and yes it means you dont have to go hunting in the car for the backup CD player or laptop if somthing goes wrong mid gig as its already there and working.... <a href="http://www.djassociates.org"><img src="http://www.djassociates.org/anims/compres_banner.gif" alt="Join the DJ Associates Disc Jockey Association" border="0" width="468" height="60"></a> Link to post Share on other sites
