brianmole 0
I have found a useful website with loads of info including a Late payment calculator which could prove to be quite useful to some of us.
FDDJ 0
As I said to you the other day Brian i'm sure I read somewhere before chrimbo that the law (or a law) was supposed to be changing so that any self employed person working through an agent must be paid no later than 7 days after they have done the job, irrespective of whatever terms the agency has agreed with the client. I'll need to see if I can find the article again before you can treat that as gospel though! Got a feeling in my water Mikeee may have mentioned it somewhere and I read it on a link connected to that... "It is not the strongest of the species that survives, nor the most intelligent, but the one most responsive to change." - Charles Darwin
mikeee 0
It depends on whether the agent is an "employment agent" or an "employment business". Because of the Conduct of Employment Agencies (stat Inst 2003 No 3319) 2003, it is becoming virtually impossible to work as an agent, but either way, because of IR35 (2004) nobody is paying until they get an invoice. ..playing all the hits for you... ....whether you may be.... Why can't I see what i going on???
