Traktor 3

Is it me but is Traktor 3 not all it is made up to be. I’ve been tri-ling it and wander what all the fuss is about.

 

What great things have you done with it and what gives it it’s reputation?

 

What are the features?

 

The talk function doesn’t seem to superimpose my voice.

 

There is a interesting feature ( On Air ) Button what is that used for?

 

What’s the best laptop spec soundcard you would recommend?

 

As you can see I no not a bean about it.

I've used it for over 2 years and its one of the best packages for mixing. Forget the talk function and use a mic through a proper mixer..

 

Take the time to read the manual, use and external mixer and treat it like twin cd decks.

Analyse your tracks and learn to use the loops and the sync buttons. Then the fun will begin.

 

Soundcard wise, a cheepy is the soundblaster 24 bit live external USB, it will give you access to 2 of the 4 decks.

 

IMHO its the tightest of all the packages once you get to know how to use it.

Try visiting the Traktor web site, they will give all the help you could possibly need (very similar to here!), conversly read the manual in depth, I'm still learning after 2 years, simply it's awesome.
