ian . 0
There's been nothing on the news about chocolate fountains being washed ashore in Devon. He's probably just down the Mercedes dealer looking at a new sports car. <a href="http://www.djassociates.org"><img src="http://www.djassociates.org/anims/compres_banner.gif" alt="Join the DJ Associates Disc Jockey Association" border="0" width="468" height="60"></a>

C.S 0
Just seen an interview of a swedish couple who have just seen on the news a bunch of stout english gentlemen break open a container and cart off all their possesions which they were moving to their new home. Not feeling all that proud to be british at the mo. I will try anything, once! The Cornish will arise again ! Manager of the Andy Harris Fan Club. Not feeling all that proud to be british at the mo. I saw that, they were moving to Africa I think? I can't imagine how they feel. It's very very wrong. At first, it seems a little lighthearted , but then later you see personal losses and that now tells me I shouldn't have made light of this - sorry.
C.S 0
Dont worry about it Brian ,i thought it was pretty funny until i realised that the containers didnt all contain just goods to be sold but some in fact contained personal goods. Of course i dont tar all brits with the same brush but at least four norwegians have commented on "those thieving brits and the shipwreck " and that was just today. I will try anything, once! Steve_Mitchell 0
I must admit I drove down to Devon today to get some gear..Just my luck though, when I opened the container it was full of illegal immigrants.... Dukesy 0
I blame the ship owners, the insurers and the legal authorities who DID apparently have time to play with and were in a position to manage the situation (on land) all the time the media were reporting and giving out location details.... Makes me larf.
Andy Westcott 0
I think the way the whole situation was handled was pathetic. It became worse when I learned that things like wedding photos and suchlike were on the beach. Personal effects - the public should have had the decency to keep away as soon as it was realised that it wasn't just commercial goods up for grabs. Never liked the Branscome lot anyhow, and don't go a bundle on Branscome itself. smile icon
