Dukesy 0
So apart from collecting music and disco equipment, what is your hobby or interest? Maybe you enjoy fishing, collecting stamps or even a spot of UFO hunting? One member has already expressed a serious interest in film making. Me personally, among many things I really love writing music on the workstation and have a small interest in Astronomy too. What's yours?
Kingy 0
Appart from my "Gentlemens , no sorry BIG BOYS" club (that a few of you are aware of) my only real hobby is cooking. I like to think of myself as a cross between Rick Stein, Jammie Oliver and Ainsley. I will cook anything as long as it's from scratch (AND NOT from a boody jar!!) especially curries, Chinese food and basically anything savoury. I don't do cakes etc!! Am also fascinated by flight! brianmole 0
Used to be heavily into sailing, had a 20ft yach moored in the Isle of Wight, then got kids, so sold the yacht. I also used to have a windsurfer and a Miracle dinghy, but again sold them off as we had no time for them, and the kids were too small. However, Louise and Simon are now 11 and 8, so the right age to start again, so we may look into getting a Laser sailing dinghy a little later in the year. Other than that, I like taunting other DJs and chrisitans  tongue out icon

andyw 0
loads of interests but no real time to take them seriyuosly at the moment. astronomy got a nice 8" dobsonian telescope and a friend as got a6" refractor and a 10" reflector.some nice scopes but the time to go out of the town to get some good views is minimal. model railways waiting to convert the loft or the kids all leave home(hint hint jamie)so i can have some quality time. fishing used to enjoy sea fishing but havent been out for a while.used to own shaes in a boat for this but kept getting seasick the only one i got time for at the moment is avoiding work trying to master that one :bouncy: Edited February 1, 2007 by andyw
Andy Westcott 0
Andy - your 8" sounds interesting. Seriously, get your backside up to the top of Bridford hill for some excellent seeing - 1000 feet up and above the haze and away from the street lights. I have taken the kids up there in the past to watch shooting stars. If you ever need company...... Referring to Jimbo's post about hopefully going supersonic - Jimbo! Please elaborate! This sounds fascinating! Anyhow - my interests: Anything technical. Amateur radio, but know little about it. Astronomy, but also know little about that. Electronics, but only know a little about that. Gin trap collecting - less said about that the better, as it's a bit eccentric..... Loads of stuff really - I'm just interested in everything! (Except football.)
