Award Entertainment 0
young CS suggested the Commodores - Brick House for the tune of the week amongst 2 others. I have not heard this probably since the 80's, so found the 12" version on itunes, and bought it. It is an amazing tune, I am so pleased to rediscover this gem. Many thanks CS! It's a track that features HUGELY in the 'most played' tracks of our American colleagues. Mobile Beat magazine run an annual 'top 200' survey and Brick House is almost always in the top 20. I use the list as a reminder for tracks that have been big, but have left my high-rotate playlist. If you ignore the country & western music, most of the top 200 seems to be fairly universal I believe.
