pdentertainment 0
Have any of you guys tried using Atomix Virtual DJ yet ?? If so how do you rate it against other DDJ software ? I've been running off it now for three years but I am wondering whether there is anything else on the market that out performs it in a live performance enviroment, I've dabbled with 'Mixmeister Fusion' which is ok if you are going to sit down for hours before the gig and pre structure youre set, and I've tried PCDJ which for me was a little on the primative side. Any Comments or advice ??

DJ Marky Marc 0
Here we go again... Turn the out mix off and learn to mix your self. whts the point in being a dj if your going to add music to a play list and let the computer mess up the mixing for you.. :wall:
pdentertainment 0
correct me if i'm wrong though 'numark cue' is a cut down version on virtual dj bundled with their usb controller . ? Here we go again... Turn the out mix off and learn to mix your self. whts the point in being a dj if your going to add music to a play list and let the computer mess up the mixing for you.. :wall: Yes You are Correct in one sense, when I'm doing a karaoke gig i let it run auto because whilst i'm ferreting about for discs I realy don't have the time to concentrate on the mixing side of things with the interval music. But If I'm doing just a disco gig my use the Hercules DJ controller and do everything manual. can't really see the difference between that and usuing cd's really.
Wayno 0
 Hang on a minute!!!! i don't use auto-mix or any fandagled gizzmo/effect! i can still cue and play the tracks as if i was using CD's, i use the laptop for ease at smaller gigs. All cus its a laptop doesn't mean it's plug and play! - ur a fan of the HD decks, the principal is the same as a laptop?! :hide: Sometimes in the pursuit of perfection one can get blinded by size.
