couple of times a week during the summer. Nowhere inparticular. Been to a few private clubs but mainly play on the local public course.

As for your next question , the answer is 28. :dan+ju:

Ice Golf ! Absolutely not and would never participate in such a limp wristed sport. tongue out icon Mind you at home in Cornwall i can watch golf from my bedroom window and hole 16 is most visable ,its at the top of a hill and at least 3 or 4 people a year have heart attacks trying to get up it so that makes it exciting !

Up to about 4 years ago I played about 2 or 3 times a week summer and winter. After having some serious problems with my ankle I was diagnosed with having gout, so if I play a full 18 holes an a championship course (as opposed to one of these small urban courses) I struggle to walk properly for about a week afterwards (being a fat bar-steward doesn't help). Best officail handicap I held was 17.

Played twice last year though and hoping to do a bit better than that this year.

Usual Courses I play (mates are members):

Launceston

St. Mellion Nicklaus Course (very hard, never broken 100 on it best ever is 102). Even the Pros hate it!

Looe

Tavistock

Favourite course Stover (shot a net 63) off 3/4 handicap (when I was an 18)

A pleasant walk spoiled

No.

Never even tried it.

More of a rifle man myself, but I suppose there are similarities in the sports: both ivolve attempting to place a projectile with extreme accuracy, and in both cases you don't get shouted at if you take your time. smile icon

Prone rifle doesn't involve so much walking and chatting to people you don't like...

and in both activities you can wear plus fours and talk with a posh accent.

Yes.Have been playing regularly since 1975.

Best handicap achieved was 10.

I am extremely proud to have my name on one of the trophies at the Royal Norwich Golf Club.

As I have already reported on here, I am currently working as a course ranger on the Boavista Golf Resort on the Algarve in Portugal.

I get to play as often as I like, work permitting, and I can also play at any of the other couses on the Algarve.FOR FREE.

Oh,CS,I have only seen one pair of plusfours and Northerners,Cockneys,Scots,Irish and Welsh dont all speak with a posh accent :ads: :ads:

This is not a rehearsal

This is it - grab it while you can.

Blimey just realised he is now 4 !!! Which means maybe I should have voted NO !!!!
