I am hearing rumours of sound limiters - flats above - flats around - and play through their speakers..... anybody recently been there? Do you mean TSP - the bar on Stew Lane? If you do, it's reached down a narrow alleyway and the bar is on the first floor, with views over the Thames. I may be in the area tomorrow. If I am I'll have a look and report back. Thanks Spinner - I do indeed mean that place. To be truthful was being lazy in hoping someone had played there....... I am working a mere 15 minute walk from the place at the moment.... so could pop in myself. Just trying to prepare myself for an enquiry without getting up - going outside into the glorious sunshine for a walk through london in the summer hold on why am i still at a desk ??????? is ok - i may force myself for a pint down there this week overlooking the thames........ nice tongue out icon
bluejools 0
Just for anyone interest. I played the Samuel Pepys this weekend gone. I like the pub - I like the people who run it. I played with a single L1 and 2B1 - got a complaint from the person above and so turned it down. It seems to be a pub that doesnt want a limiter and long may that continue. I could have just played through their system but wanted to localise the sound a bit. 2 things. Between visiting and playing the single yellows out front had changed to double. Nearest parking is not near. Unloading - forgot my trolley. If you play this place never forget your trolley. It is a smooth run to the front door - any trolley - or a friend...... I am sure I had done at least my 5000 steps for the day....... The disabled lift inside works ok so you can avoid the stairs.... but it is painfully slow in a very Health and Safety concious way.
