Cheezy 0
I don't think the drinks on speakers stop with bass bins! I used to have rectangular 15" cabs on stands that had flat tops. Many people tried to puty there drinks on the top. Most vibrated themselves off over time, making a mess on the floor and dangerous with broken glass. Now with Mackies, the tops are not that flat, so most punters that I haven't spotted and tried to stop them, end up with booze over them! I agree with what has been said, most people are ignorant or drunk, or both!!!!! You can get cooperation with some, but not all! Cheezy Nightsounds

cmj 0
I would just pop the bass up a touch and make them "dissapear" in the same way bar staff complain when their bottles "walk" to the edge of the bar. The joy of having 4 Ohm BR218's to play with lol . . . .

Jimmy S 0
I find a couple of bare wires into the mains gently rubbed across there hand as they are about to place the glass onto speaker does the trick...........and only after the have peeled themselves off the the far away wall and combed there hair back into place you explain that they are an IDIOT. HAVE A NICE DAY
Bouncy Dancefloor 0
a local band have made a wedge shape which goes over the pole, effective IMO as per niks post, i would rather prevent the problem than announce on the microphone and be a party pooper
