rictic 0
i have often considered the problem of germs on my karaoke mic's. an antiseptic wipe every time someone sings is expensive and dont get into the mesh. foam mic covers just get wet and disgusting in minutes . but what would a spray do to the mic if used as just a very fine mist? people seem to spit and slur into them when half drunk and it's gotta be full of little cold germs and stuff. i am worried that use of a fine spray may damage the diaphram or circuitry. any thoughts / suggestions

Mattaious 0
Understand your concerns there rictic I personally use mic anti bacterial spray purchased from CPC Farnell Couple of quid for a medium sized bottle, 2 Squirts and a quick wipe and i reckon it does the job,
Jimbo55 0
You do not have to wipe every time with a fresh wipe. Most of the wipes are far to wet for our needs anyway. A spray could get through the foam 'pop' cover so not advisable to spray when the 'cage' is attached to the mic. Each wipe should last a half hour or so between singers before they become too dry. If you are finding a packet of wipes to expensive, then a spray solution on to a cloth is far cheaper and safer for the mic. Take off the cages and foams and wash through after every gig. Or increase your prices to cover the additional cost. :ads: Behringer mics are cheap and literally throw away at the price. I always switch to cheaper mics when I get rowdy/drunk/messy singer(s). DJJEG 0
Rub the mic under you armpit just after youve set up, i bet they would not get so close to it then
