zanzibar2 0
Hi All Already posted twice but forgot my introductions I am male, 41 years of age and run a mobile Disco with my son (18). We are based near Woodbridge, Suffolk. We specialise in 18 year old birthdays and Weddings and have been gigging as R&J Discos for 2 years now. Personally I have been 'doing the rounds' for the last 15 years. We use Cerwin Vega Intense 152's and Intense 118's Bass Bins, Gemini CD-2000X CD Player (FOR dj'ING), KAM KCD 1000 (For Karaoke), Phonic Max2500 Amps x 2 (750W Per Channel @ 4 OHM's), KAM Crossover and KAM DMX Controller plus a good selection of lights. I have noticed that KAM are frowned upon here but we gotta start somewhere :flirt: We also use Shure UT4 and JTS 901 Wireless Mics. We're 'above board' - We've had CRB checks and possess Public Liability insurance. We love this business so here for the long haul Thanks for having us  Zanzibar Criminal Record Checked £2 Million Public Liability Insured

Mattaious 0
:welcome: to DJU Kam isnt frowned upon here,No gear goes without mention (good or bad) Members here uses all varity of equipment from Skytec and the like to those pole'y speaker me things :hide: Infact its just everyones opinions and personal preference on kit. I use KAM kit and its never let me down. Enjoy your stay  Edited October 15, 2007 by mattaious

zanzibar2 0
:thanks: Impressive response Thanks for all your replies... Our techy knowledge is not that hot so we shall be asking some pretty dumb questions - but it wont be a one way thing. I intend to take part and help where I can. We use a KAM Barrell and scanners and they look great as a light show if DMX'd. And we also have a pair of Kam 600W speakers as back up. But yes Paul and mattaious I agree...my son tends to work the DMX - I dont get involved @ Norfolk DJ Hi...yes have seen you around on this site. Are there any other members in East Anglia? Jimbo55 0
Welcome to the forum. :djuhi: For the record I started with IDEX cabs that kept blowing the tweeter drivers. I now use Cerwin Vega's Tops and subs. I also use those long 'poley' type things mentioned earlier. Jim Digital Fusion Entertainments Bose L1 system user.

TonyB 0
Hi Zanzibar :welcome: Nothing wrong with KAM stuff. I've got a KAM mixer and still have a set of KAM CD decks that are getting on for 6 years old but work fine. Like to think I am on the East Anglian borders. I do a lot of work in Suffolk, done a gig at the Woodbridge Rugby club a couple of weeks ago. Soon be enough members in this area to arrange an East Anglian meet smile icon

Tonsk 0
Where did you have the meet Paul? It was actually Norfolk DJ, Me and Paul - We met up at the Compleate Angler pub near Norwich Train Station... It was nice to meet up with him (Paul) as I meet Norfolk DJ quite a lot and he's a bit boring tongue out icon :aa :ads: :fan: The Right Music - based in Norwich and covering all Norfolk and Suffolk
Paul Smith 0
I was just passing through so meeting near the train station was an ideal location. There's certainly more East Anglians on here now so next time I come over we could try for a bigger meet-up.
