I use a M3100 pda/phone. Absolutely brilliant.

Got it free on an 18 month contract with Orange, about 18 months ago.

I had a palm T/X which was ok but think I didn't like was that it has it's own operating system rather than windows mobile.

If you are going to get a PDA, I would go for one that runs Windows Mobile.

I actually decided to get a PDA phone and went for the HP rw6815

As this is a phone / pda all in one, I always have it with me whereas I could never be bothered to carry a PDA and a phone.

This has wifi / bluetooth etc and runs windows mobile so you can install skype on it and then if you are in a wifi area you can use the handset to make sykpe calls which is cool.

You can also go online with GPRS but this can be expensive unless you have a call plan that gives you unlimited data downloads.

Hope this helps :-)

I have an O2 XDA Exec

And I love it.....runs windows mobile....I get my emails the second they are sent, I can go online if I want.

It also has full outlook syncronisation, so I use it for diary and contact information.

I also have spreadsheets on it containing current disco booking information.

Oh yea......it also makes phonecalls too :D

I love it, and now I wonder how I ever managed without it!!!

  • 2 weeks later...

I love gadgets, and have found them all to be prone to some form of problem - failure, data loss etc...

However, I have found one which is almost foolproof:

I have a wife that I can use, and she also hardly ever breaks down :dan: :fear: :bouncy:
