Floorfillers From Whenever

following on from bigmcbens thread(hope he dont mind :rolleyes: )

what would you put on next if you wanted the floor to fill (any type of function you want)

for a mixed party we find

dancing queen ~ by abba

9 to 5 ~dolly parton

amarillo ~tony christie

one of those would normally do it,what works well in your area

the twist - chubby usually goes down well , enables a smooth segue into all sorts of choices

 

also i find a bit of motown or barry white does the trick

I'm not going to get into the listings of what I use coz it always depends on the night/crowd (even the venue) etc. BUT, I think I can honestly say that not ONE of the above has ever been used in anger by me!!!!

Ace of Base - Always Have, Always Will is one of my "Break Glass in Case of Emergency" tracks.

 

I always forget to use it and it's such a good track for across the age groups.

ive said it once and ill say it again, lol

dont leave me this way - comunards, works everytime when i have to use a floorfiller --- not often

As you may know search engines (particularly Google) rank sites higher if they have other sites linking to them.

Tina Turner - Simply The Best - always gets the ladies up and often gets a round of applause at the end.

 

Fantastic tune. Unfortunately banned by many venues in Northern Ireland due to sectarian tensions.

 

Ace of Base - Always Have, Always Will is one of my "Break Glass in Case of Emergency" tracks.

 

Genius! Haven't heard it in years, just listened to it. Defo getting played this week.

Well up here i would have to say believe it or not

 

superstar - love inc

 

fills the floor all ages

 

Same here - I can recall including it in my top 3 floorfillers during a DJU interview many years ago and would do so now too. Maybe it's just a western thing :shrug:

I'm intrigued by this Ace of base song which keeps being mentioned as a floor filler...

i must download it and take a listen

 

The only one i have ever heard by the base is "all that she wants"
