I always look forward to January - some time off to start with and even though it's short days and long nights it's a time to work on the plans for the coming year and (more importantly) the one after that.

My biggest problem is that I don't always use the time as productively as I should - I'm well aware that work expands to fill the time available yet still manage to fit 2 days work into 10 days 'off' without a minute to spare at the end

Maybe I just a good kick up the :moon: but anotomically am not the best person to do it tongue out icon (form a queue).

I haven't had a January blues. Did 4 this week, have Saturday (+2 subbed out) then following Friday, Saturday and Saturday after that.

February is dead though!

Nothing in January - yet, but a couple in Feb.

Getting quite a few enquiries though, most have been converted, the rest I'm waiting on. This is the first year I've had a website of sorts up, and it's paying off big-time in a way I hadn't expected.

Anyhow, slack January - useful as I do my PAT then, and hoover out the coffin case and pull the rubbish from my speaker ports!

Nothing this month (yet). Lots starting to come in for next month, March and April which is nice.

Website updates, all booking forms and terms etc need a look over and have prepared for this...just needs doing and will take a while so will do that.

Not much else to be done really. Need to catalog. some more gear/update the list so that will be done soon. Printed off some more A5 flyers now...just need chopping up.

Other than that, PLI certificate updated etc a few days ago so all good!

Having a terrible month personally and professionally. A few weeks ago everything looked great. Fingers crossed the rest of the year doesn't carry on like this.

I'm a DJ based in Northern Ireland with nearly 10 years' experience offering a range of services. Including club residencies, karaoke, pub quizzes, specialised wedding service, Master of Ceremonies, Compere, Night at the Races and much more.

It's starting to pick up. Apart from my regular Thursdays, I've taken deposits for 2 in January and part way though confirming 1 in Feb, 2 in APRIL, 1 in May and 1 in September. (Part way means booking forms sent out - awaiting deposits).

Nothing in January for me either. First gig in 2008 is Valentines on 9th Feb and a 25th Wedding Anniversary on 16th Feb

Suits me fine, this is meant to be a hobby anyhow, though 6 weeks is a long time away from the decks.

Thanks ... Dave
