analyst 0
Lucky for Darren Nixon he wasn't dark skinned and running for an appointment. To anyone who says "If you've done nothing wrong, you've got nothing to hide" this could be you . . . or worse, you no longer.

analyst 0
police have no choice but to act in these circumstances. We all accept that, but having stopped him, searched him, found no gun and no evidence to back up "Granny's" theory that his mp3 player was a gun, why did they then go ahead, drag him off to the cells, take his DNA and fingerprints (stored for life) and generally give him a police record that now states he has been arrested on suspicion of carrying a firearm? Gary 0
The lady did the right thing, imho. We need less people turning a blind eye and acting in the greater good. The police did the only thing they could. The alternative? "Oh really madam, you think it was a gun? ha ha, probably just an mp3 pla....>BANG<.> The music-lover? Probably bought himself a bigger mp3 player with the proceeds of selling his story. Positives all 'round. Better that the mistake was made THAT way around.

jamminroadshow 0
It might appear silly but the fact was until they did the checks they do not have a clue if he had a gun or not i do not agree with keeping his DNA though as he has done nothing wrong so they should erase it
