Gary 0
I've got some old VCD (Video CD format) discs which have got about 20 songs/videos on them, from the early 80's. I want to be able to put these videos onto my home PC, so that they can be played by normal PC media players. At the moment, as soon as the VCD is inserted into the PC, the autorun takes over and takes you into an interactive menu to choose which video you want to play. Is there a way of saving/converting the 20 or so individual video tracks, into "normal" playable files?
UKHero 0
Just pop the disk in the Drive and explore the CD then go to the MPEG2 folder open it up and in there should be an MPEG file copy that to your HDD. But if you really want to convert them back to mpg files from dat files, go Here http://www.vcdgear.com/download.html Mind you Gary what ever you do the HD-2500 wont play them :dan+ju: Nik Niks Roadshow
Gary 0
Mind you Gary what ever you do the HD-2500 wont play them It's not the DN-HD2500 that I'm loading them into..............although it is a Denon.................. :ads: Although thanks to its MIDI capabilities, and better-than-laptop soundcard, I know DJs who do use the DN-HD2500 with video playback lappys running things like PCDJ VJ. Denons new DN-HC4500 controller even has native support (not just MIDI) for those wanting real DJ hardware controls for audio or video instead of click, clickerty, click. and thanks for the link Nik. Still. It's a big enough market out there, for both professional hard drive controllers, and lappys.
