Mattaious 0
Howdy all. Ive got the sweet job of doing the quiz in the pub in a few weeks, And im looking at having a guess that tune round. What i want to do is get an mp3 file and take a snippet ( say 30 seconds) and then play it back backwards. Now i thought about using nero soundeditor but i cant fuquire it out. Any ideas or suggestions on a post card please. Ta Mattaious
NRG Roadshow 0
Im not sure how to do that Matt. But why dont you just have a guess the intro..... First few seconds of the tune recorded as a new Mp3. I have just taken part in a contest like that on another forum......it was very tough to name the song......and we were all meant to be DJs too! Just an idea anyway, if you dont manage to sort out the "backwards tunes" thing.
vokf 0
Goldwave or Audicity will allow you to do this. I've not used Nero Sound editor, but I expect they will be easier to use. Jason
Partyprint 0
I think you can do it on the wav recorder on windows, record the song - then play it backwards whilst recording it again. Wedding Dj in Liverpool
OllieJames 0
i can do it really easily, i just use Adobe Audition. Import the track, hit reverse, and export is again, simple! If i can help, drop me a PM!
gadget 0
Audacity should be able to do this - its free too! RichardP 0
Windows Sound Recorder can reverse too - that's right, built into Windows - nothing else to download. Does other stuff too as it happens - Echo, Slow Down, Speed Up, Volume increase/decrease!
dh140770 0
Another vote for Audacity http://audacity.sourceforge.net Just highlight the section to reverse and choose effects -> Reverse. You can chop the bits around it and export as an Mp3. I use it to fix all sorts of things like taking the swearing out of songs if I can't get the clean version on Itunes, etc etc. ---------------------------- Thanks ...
