Dukesy 0
Madness will play new album The Liberty Of Norton Folgate in full at the Hackney Empire next month. The veteran baggy stars' new LP is their first in ten years. The two-hour show takes place on June 24. The band said the concert would be: "A bright shining virus of joy, therapy for the masses, a belter of a good night out." The new album will apparently tell the story of "a city born in blood, mud and immigrant, which grew through adventure, betrayal and treason; fought to breathe the dirt, muck and scum of survival; raged through the pains of passion". Corabar Steve 0
You might want to check our source The veteran baggy stars' new LP is their first in ten years. Sourced It's not their first new album in 10 years, the Dangermen Sessions came out in 2005, making it their first new album in 3 years. & baggy stars???? Wouldn't that make them something like the Stone Roses of Inspiral Carpets? I can see where they're going with that though, an attempted (failed) reference to Baggy Trousers, but the wording makes them seem like a completely different genre. It's old news anyway, It's been advertised on their myspace page for weeks. The Plan is to play the album in full (in album running order) then finish with a short greatest hits set. Corabar Steve 0
That is now correct, as the Dangerman Sessions was a collection of covers. Steve...
