Tec 0
I'm interested to see the difference between weddings in different countries - Say in Ireland the normal is to Have Church, then meal, Band after meal from 9.30 to 12 then Dj from 12 to 2.30am. Very rarely would they have a dj for the church or after the Meal. The normal for a band is 1600 - 2000 euro (£1600), 350-450 euro (£315) for DJ Thanks Tec
Dukesy 0
From my own experience of weddings, have found so many different takes of what a 'traditional' wedding is in GB, I admit to not knowing much if anything at all about other countries customs and 'traditions' - a good question! Are there many venues in Ireland with a 2.00 am licence? How different is NI?
Tec 0
All hotels in Ireland if they have a dance Licence which most do operate till 2 - 2.30 am
Paul Smith 0
Here in NI the usual is for a disco from 8.00pm to 1.00am. There are one or two venues with midnight or half past midnight finishes but the majority are 1.00am - even mid-week. As Tec says - a trip over the border and it becomes a 2.30am finish. tazio 0
Here in oz the bride puts one her best thongs (flip-flops) at breakfast, the groom cracks a keg of beer at morning tea and the family is woken up when the flies buzzing around get too annoying and the sun is too hot. DJ plays Dancing Queen and Greased Lightning and then the whole Bridal Party is out cold on the porch. Pack up and leave Easy work
