Wow, this is a great update!

Love the folder search option now, find it a better way of organising my files.

Also the hotlist feature is great as you can find songs then store them away for later on in the evening.

Not sure if these features were in the last update as I went straight from the original one to this.

The Denon just keeps getting better :-)

The ones that stuttered are all MP3s converted from wave files via AudioGrabber

pull out the original CD and Rip them Direct to MP3 with somthing like media player... they will work then

    • 2 weeks later...

It fixed my playlist problems, although it still stuttered a track (playing it real sloooooooooooow) and from the internal HD after it had been re-done with MM 1.3

This new info was just posted on the Denon DJ forums as well.

We found the reason & cure to this random sloooooow down playback issue.

It has to do with the hidden logged files on the drive that builds up to become very large.

Our device has to swim (if you may) through this cluster of unused data before it finds the music file location, thus the sloooow sound.

The only way to clear this out is to Format the drive and copy the files back, then everything will be optimum again.

Thanks Denon. Any idea why these files build up and will I be in line for the same problem down the "track"? I do not use the playlist feature or any of the effects. Just wondered, I have not had this problem yet.
