Being most venues do not allow haze/smoke do the beams show up at all. i understand the new Kam cluster light is ok and the intimidation quantum look ok without smoke. the pegasus laser looks ok in videos as well. if any guys who have lasers can give me tips they will be gratefully appreciated. The cluster lasers are intended to be projected onto a surface for best results (looks like a star field). If you want to do graphics (pictures or writing) then you need to be spending serious money. My full colour laser (red green and blue can make every possible colour) complete with software and controller would set you back about £2k, the ones on ebay for a couple of hundred that show graphics are very limited in what they can do. stardust 0 Posted August 1, 2008 Report Share Posted August 1, 2008 You will not get any laser beams without smoke/haze - the only effect you will get is the laser pointer pattern on the floor/wall. I use the Kam star cluster most weekends (without smoke) - once again you will not get any beams with this but you do get a very original effect which takes up most of an average hall floor (red/green patterns) - even during day time discos where the venue is not that dark. oohh Link to post Share on other sites

The cluster has an amazing beam effect with smoke (think of a mirror ball close up with beams going in all directions) - However to get this effect you need a lot of smoke. oohh Link to post Share on other sites
