Adie Hughes 0
Thinking of purchasing a basic set of CD players......what r u thoughts on numark cdn 88's or 95's Neither of them. Numarks customer service is very bad, mind you - so is Denon etc !. I would try the americanDJ's new twin CD that has MP3 and text on it. A great player which has had rave reviews. Its built well also. Ade West Midlands Based, Nationwide Service. Pro. DJ Adie Hughes / Events / Decor / Chocolate Fountain - The Corporate Specialists.
yourweddingdisco 0
I disagree actually Ade. Denons customer service has been brilliant with me. When ive spoke to Denon in the past theyve answered all my questions spot on.
bluejools 0
i've never had a problem with Numark either - but to me - neither of those count as a "basic set" :->
Adie Hughes 0
Denons customer service for repairs is a pro companys nightmare. Denon are well known in the industry in the UK ( USA they are great!) for very bad after sales, its a shame as I have 4 denon products also. A AV company last year had a CD drawer go down, and it took them 3 months to get it repaired and cost £ 190!!!!. Also I had a friend who wanted a PLAY button to be replaced. The button was £ 5.50 and the replacement was £ 150 + VAT to have it put in and £30 carriage. So around £200 to replace a button!. I managed to get him a replacement button Trade and his local disco shop (who wont deal with denon) placed it in for £10. Again i know of 4 major sound & light companys who love denons products but wont sell it due to the huge delay in & cost in getting repairs done. Numark also have a very bad customer service if products are sent back to them. Mind you, I do know of a couple of people who have had mixers go down, and they did repair them within 3 weeks, which I guess for Numark is not bad. But I had another friend without his CD player for 2 months as they said its on the test bench everytime he phoned up, then he actually had the wrong CD player sent back to him!, and numark LOST his CD player!. They said they will send him another - and he had a a CDN88 come with a cracked LCD unit on it, and all scratched. He went mad - and in the end numark said sorry and send him a new CDN88, which to this day he keeps having problems with it and he has just washed his hands with it, and is using Pioneer now.
