4zzz 0
Just looking at purchasing a DJ Booth from S&H Two options available as follows Our controllable system is supplied with: 1 of 4 x 50va transformer + 1 of Ryger DX403 controller Our static system would be supplied with : 1 of 50va static transformer Just looking from some feedback from peeps that have purchased the S&H Booth and which one you would invest in. Also how do you find the set up and take down transport etc? Also response from punters venues etc was it worth the investment? Cheers, Gary
LEENEWSOME 0
yes i have one they are simply fantastic, tons better than these cheap skirts that you can get, i would get the static one as its around the cheapest, i have a fellow dj that can get them for jut about £600.00 PM if you require his details, you can set it up in literally 5 minutes and pack it down in about 2 minutes. And yes it does get comments especially from venue managers and it has been worth every penny. WWW.HONKYTONKSULTIMATEDISCOS.COM
spinner 0
Agreed. Very easy to set up and take down. Folds away neatly. The frame is relatively heavy to carry in and out of venues but that's all. Creates a great impression with venues and clients. I use the static one.

supersound dj 0
600 quid jeezzz. It it made from metal tubing if so im glad im a welder fabricator. Just give me the plans ill have one knocked up in a week. I made my own table for 3rd rig out of square tubing from old school tables. Paul just looked at the website the frame itself looks simple enough to make. are the sections hinged and fold into each other? that wouldent be a problem. loved to get a pattern and have a go at it.It would be a challenge. Eskie 0
It is an extremely worthwhile investment from a few angles. Upmarket venues love it and the banquet managers will often comment positively on it. It hides all the cables, flightcases, suitbag etc. It looks very professional. Is built very well and lasts a long time if looked after. The weight of the frame can be viewed in different ways; on the one hand it would be nice to have something lighter from a carrying point of view, but on the other hand the weight makes it very robust so that even if someone falls into it it doesn't buckle or fall into your gear. The price is OTT though but it's because they have a monopoly and no decent competition. The starcloth made by companies such as prolight can not seriously be compared. It is like comparing a Jaguar to a Nissan Micra! It would be good if another company produced something of similar quality which would hopefully bring the price down. There is a proposal for this from someone on another forum. I understand the starcloth material used by NJD branded product is good quality and reasonably priced.
Dream Catchers 0
I've got my brother knocking a frame together for me, once that is done I have a NJD Starcloth that I will be altering to fit snuggly. Once done I'll post some pics. Jim

McCardle 1
$600 shipping? I hope thats a typo??? for heavy goods shipped from the Uk to Australia?, i would say that was about right, bearing in mind that he means $600 australian dollars which is roughly about £275. Seems like there is a niche for starcloths in Oz, anybody fancy a new life and career in Australia?.
