Dream Catchers 0
I think that the publics idea of a stereotypical DJ is possibly a 20 year old cool dude that scratches vinyl. Looking at our forums and others, I do know that there are quite a few dinosaurs like me though. Where do you fall in the age groups above. I wonder what the most common age range will be. deejaymitch 0
It would be interesting to see this broken down between club DJs and function DJs I'm 27 and fully intend to "retire" when I turn 30. I will still do the odd function but will be giving up my residencies as I deifnitely feel that it's a young persons' game. I'm a DJ based in Northern Ireland with nearly 10 years' experience offering a range of services. Including club residencies, karaoke, pub quizzes, specialised wedding service, Master of Ceremonies, Compere, Night at the Races and much more.

Neil of the Roadshow 0
Me and my partner in crime - Kev of the Roadshow, also a new member - are both 32. We have been doing this since we were 22 going through pubs, then wedding residency at a hotel, then nightclubs in Blackpool, then a few years rest whilst I got married and had small wobbly folk. Then the come back and the Roadshow was born out of boredom and a need to rescue the North West's evening receptions. Now we are the North Wests premier wedding DJ's (I would suggest the later is open to conjecture) If the numbers are movin', the decks a runnin'
