Dream Catchers 0
I've used them a few times. I normally pay a little extra and get the glossy and foil cards. Good value. Jim
Wayno 0
No problems here either although I tend to upload my own designs. Had brochures cards and postcards, all top drawer. McCardle 1
They are okay. A little cheap and cheerful but plenty of people use them. Don't buy their magnetic vehicle signs though, the magnets are crap and fail to cling onto the vehicle at normal legal road speeds. I lost one of mine the very first time they were used between home and the venue - 10 miles away, and the other lost the will to cling on to life too and followed a week or so later. Total waste of money. When you sign up, also use a throw away email address, as you'll get daily special offer emails constantly thereafter. However, business is bad in the UK with many small businesses suffering at the moment, and just as we hope that our services will be used within the local community then why not do your bit too and keep your printing requirement local and try one of the many small business and sole traders eeking out a living in your own town?. milhouse 0
I'd recommend using a printing.com outlet - probably more expensive but I've always had a good service from them and the quality of the work is good. Vistaprint have always had a good turnaround time when I've used them but the quality of the output has been below par.

vokf 0
I'm thinking about using a local printer. I was a bit disappointed with the quality of my cards from VisitaPrint and the total price paid was no-where near the advertised price. We also made a mistake of making a font too small and the whole thing is hard to read. Live and learn!! Edited December 22, 2008 by vokf
Dukesy 0
I was happy with the business cards but the colour flyer sized cards were a let down. Tried Purchased the car magnets...too frightened they'd fly off when driving along!
biggav 0
i used them for business cards for my plumbing business and the band, very good, and get the job done!!! a little sluggish on the cheapest postage and you do get the feeling they are grooming you for a shanking when you go throught their check out process..... i had some post cards made up for the wifes 30th birthday invites, ordered 150 and nothing arrived, enquired and they sent again... i recieved a pack of 50.... re enquired and got the other 100. On the plus side, they don't send by recorded delivery, so a mate of mine waits till his turn up, checks he's happy with them, they reports that he hasn't recieved them and gets another load for free. tongue out icon www.longweekendmusic.co.uk 60s to present day rock and pop live covers band. Essentially this is fraud.
biggav 0
quite possibly, but i'm sure if you look at the business ethics of Vista Print, they do their best to expoint grey areas and small print!! It may have actually been photobox that he had done it too, i remember him showing me the printed cards and telling me all about it. The first lot of cards I ordered (via a link which said free business cards and silver card holder) cost me about £45 after they added all the little extras (glossy paper, double sided, 500 cards instead of 250, address stamp, post it notes etc) address stamp and post its came within 2 weeks but the cards still hadn't turned up 6 weeks later so i enquired if they had been sent and recieved an email that a second lot had been dispatched... the first lot were recieved 3 days after the second "rush" order and a letter sent with those said "if the initial order does turn up, please accept them as a gift/gesture of goodwill from us" I wouldn't be at all suprised if when you pay for slowest postage (3-4 weeks) the items are printed at the same time, then put in a store room for 2 weeks before being posted out and therefore have a possibility of being forgotten about. If i needed them quicker, i would have paid the extra postage but i ended up with 1000 business cards which will only be any good if my house doesn't get repossesed in January. www.longweekendmusic.co.uk 60s to present day rock and pop live covers band. I also paid lots more for my cards than was advertised. I think I wanted quick delivery (1st gig and wanted Cards to put out). Small things like a charge for uploading my own design annoyed me. The express postage was a mis-worded. To be fair to them, this wasn't secretly added to my Card - it was all laid out for me to remove these extra options, and I could have opted for slow delivery, their design, thin card etc. I must admit, I don't like the "bait & switch" method of selling - and for not much more I'd prefer to get a local company to do the work. If i needed them quicker, i would have paid the extra postage but i ended up with 1000 business cards which will only be any good if my house doesn't get repossesed in January. I hope that doesn't happen! Things are fairly tight here (but not that tight!). I've a few non-DJ invoices to call in and I'll be calling my NYE client later to confirm I'm all set (and to check its still on!). If everybody pays, I'll be pretty flush... but currently, I can't guarantee that. Jason
Bouncy Dancefloor 0
oh heaven forbid a company offers something for free and tries to sell you extras???? If you want the free cards, just go for them and pay the postage, thats what i did!
