The only NEW programming over Xmas has been celebrity pop factor on ice type rubbish! What happened to PROPER Christmas specials of PROPER comedy and entertainment programs that are actually......wait for it......funny and entertaining? The really depressing thing is that your average Joe Public actually accepts the standards of the tosh that TV companies are getting away with broadcasting. I ended up with Attenborough's replays, which I always enjoy. Can't believe some chanels are still showing 70's and 80's comedy programmes which were not funny then.... And why oh why are we still financing the BBC. I don't want to. If I didn't want my drive paving I wouldn't pay for it. I don't want to watch the BBC, yet I still have to pay. I just don't get it!!
