Slimboy Fat 0
I could give you the same concise answer at he same time EVERY year......the X Factor winner. Pure manufactured rubbish designed to exploit the gullible public. How about TV Programming controllers taking the trouble to think up a new concept for a TV show? Failing that, the very least they could do is think up a different type of winner for once rather than YET ANOTHER Leona Lewis clone? MintyDave 0
Pink - So What how cheesy can you get, she has talent but sings the most stupid songs - its that angry, ooh im tough fake image followed closly by kaiser chiefs I think xfaxtor / britains got talent is the modern equivalent to stock aiken and waterman - hit factory turning out endless supermarket shelf fillers (no disrespect to pete and the boys) for the mass population of uneducated music lovers. You can almost guarantee next years winner will be a young black (no racism inferred) female singing some dodgey ballad :lame: Boring! McCardle 1
Would probably be easier to list the GOOD tracks of 2008 (even then i'd be struggling) The music industry really is down in the gutter at the moment, nearly everything is just a re-hash of somebody elses work, Xerox music with repetitive beats. Personally I think they should lock up Leona Lewis for her version of 'Run' and throw away the key, wrong choice of song for her quiet thin whining voice. Snow Patrol had much more power and the original was haunting, but her version...well i've dealt farts with more presence. Most promising newcomer for 2009 - MGMT, but even their stuff isn't playable at gigs "The voice of the devil is heard in our land" 'War doesn't determine who is right, war determines who is left, and you wont win this war.' Danno13 0
Anything by Basshunter, Cascada et al and that god awful Put a Donk On It song! Although not in anywhere near the same league, I though Eric Prydz - Pjanno was very overrated and got sick of hearing it all the time! ryandio 0
Anything by Basshunter, Cascada et al and that god awful Put a Donk On It song! Sick and tired of playing Basshunter, thankfully requests for him have tailed off, but I'll nominate his version of Jingle Bells as the worst of last year. dh140770 0
Scooter - Jump that Rock. Hated it, which is strange because I normally like Scooter stuff. Best record. Pendulum - Granite Further to my previous post I have decided the worst record of 2008 and possibly of the decade so far ... even worse the Soulja Boy - Crank That ... was Ironik - Stay with Me Was it a joke record ? It reminds me of Ali G and Jarvis Cocker on the Ali G Show. Just search for Ali G Jarvis on Youtube (broad mind and sense of humour required ;-) ---------------------------- Thanks ... Slimboy Fat 0
Ironik - Stay with Me Good call.
