Well basically I've been DJing for about a year now. I started off being volunteered by the missus to DJ at my kids' school pta disco with their hired gear. Had such a great time I was hooked. Bought my own gear mainly from ebay. I now do kids/family/friends parties and discos for 2 schools' ptas. I hope that I can glean some good info from you guys. I already appreciate it's not just about playing music. I usually sweat buckets getting set up in time! and that's just the start. But I am enjoying it, when a party goes well and the kids and the parents enjoy it and thank you afterwards it's great and you can't wait till the next time.
