jukeboxdj 0
. I won't just be working locally, we're talking nationwide to clients prepared to pay that kind of money (and have a need for that kind of rig), and the power variations aren't at the exclusion of each other...we are talking multi rigs for simultaneous events! well all i can say is all the best and good luck mate with regards to equipment i change things as i feel is needed hoping to provide a professional appearance and a professional show with it

digitaldistortion 0
4 boxes to smaller gigs and 16 boxes to a big one and anything inbetween 16 box martin rig........... where r u thinking of playing, the albet hall ? I know this wasn't directed at me, but why the question mark?????????? For a full sound in a large arena (and why not the Albert Hall?) then a pair of subs and a couple of mid/highs just won't cut it.....will they? Cheers! Roy B. Bouncy Dancefloor 0
16 boxes is not alot either i did a show last summer where they had 16 pro boxes, it was for about 200 people in a marquee, but they wanted dance music and wanted a whole nightclub look and feel sounded great and didnt need to push the sound we also have a local venue which holds 2,000 people, ive worked in it a couple of times and lets just say, you can never have enough sound in there :)
prosoundandlight 0
well im new hear ... but not new to the disco industry for the past 25 years!! ive initialy went through over the years on listending to what i thought were good systemms, then upgrading to a newer & better system as neccesary. so strated of with a JBL rigs ... onto a eaw rig... through to a EV RX system, to now a Funktion one system Im realy glad i have moved into the bigger systems, as the enquireies i get are for the bigger jobs.. with more money budgeted. From small to large ...as long you have built up the business steadily & your clients know what you can realisticly provide, you will be on a very stick slope. So to give you an idea on what i have got now 4 x res2 2 X F215 4 X F218 2 X f218 infrabases Powered by mc2 amps... with an XTA controller. the system can be scaled from small to large jobs easily... but the investment has already paid for its self in 12 months. There is a market for small & large PA out there ... you just have to make sure your clients have bought into your services
