spinner 0
I'm sure I heard on the tele yesterday that the recession was over. The official definition of recession, or the start of one, is a reduction of manufacturing output 3 months in a row. The official definition of recovery is the reverse. Currently manufacturing output has increased for 2 consecutive months. If that carrries on for a third it may well signify that the bottom has been reached and the economy is on the mend (slowly).
