McCardle 1
I only went to a couple but I think that PLASA lost the plot a long time ago in respect of the Mobile DJ. When I first started out it was THE show to go to, and entirely focused to the Mobile DJ and all of the top manufacturers were there......not that there are a lot of TRUE uk Disco Equipment manufacturers left The last time I went it was ok for those who want to kit out a nightclub or are involved with the theatre or who want to fit PA systems into an oil rig, but the original mobile dj theme has long since been forgotten. If I wanted to buy furnishings then i'd go to a furniture outlet and not to a DJ exhibition. Looking at the current exhibitor list, http://www.plasashow.com/exhibitors/exhibitorlist/ I think this looks the worst its ever been. See how many well known DJ equipment manufacturers you can find "The voice of the devil is heard in our land" 'War doesn't determine who is right, war determines who is left, and you wont win this war.' Dukesy 0
Not sure if I'm going this year. Pioneer may have a new release but they'll be cutting it fine if they do! Since BPM became the event for mobile djs, PLASA has definately lost the appeal.
