Listening to Pete Tong one night and he played Faithless - Insomnia and I fell in love with music and from that moment wanted to be a DJ. What type of "Do" was your first gig? A Pub Christmas Eve Party How much did you charge? I think I got 60 quid What equipment did you have to begin with? 2 Jamo speakers (household ones) a Tandy Mixer, Some flashing traffic lights and a stero cd player and a portable cd player. Whats the worst/most embarassing thing you've done in front of an audience? Spent half the night calling the hotel the wrong name What is your favourite type of function now? EG: Wedding, 18th Birthday party, funeral wake.. 18th Birthday Party Or Xmas Party Is there anything that you include in your show now, that you wish you'd done/known when you started? (Not equipment, but in human/performer terms) To not talk like a "DJ" but to speak like myself Have you ever bought something for your show that you wish you hadnt? and why? Light screens I hate the things and sold them 3 days after buying them. Whats your next DJ purchase likely to be? New Headphones my old ones are in bits If you could get someone to invent a new piece of disco equipment for your show, what would it be? A light that makes girls clothes see through What do you think is the best thing about DJ'ing. The music What do you think is the worst thing about DJ'ing. Drunk Punters What would make you stop DJ'ing (if anything). Nothing How do you think DJ'ing will change, in the next 5 years? Not such a big need for Mobile Discos at xmas as more people go to clubs and restaurants Most stupid thing anyone's ever said to you at a gig? Can you play abba, I cant believe you have not played any.....while i was playing abba and the previous track had been abba Best advice you were ever given by a fellow DJ? Love your music And worst advice you were ever given Buy Light screens Name 3 songs that 95% of the time will fill you dance floor!!
