How long have you been DJ'ing?

 

7 Years

 

What inspired you to become a DJ?

 

Listening to Pete Tong one night and he played Faithless - Insomnia and I fell in love with music and from that moment wanted to be a DJ.

 

What type of "Do" was your first gig?

 

A Pub Christmas Eve Party

 

How much did you charge?

 

I think I got 60 quid

 

What equipment did you have to begin with?

 

2 Jamo speakers (household ones) a Tandy Mixer, Some flashing traffic lights and a stero cd player and a portable cd player.

 

 

Whats the worst/most embarassing thing you've done in front of an audience?

 

Spent half the night calling the hotel the wrong name

 

What is your favourite type of function now? EG: Wedding, 18th Birthday party, funeral wake..

 

18th Birthday Party Or Xmas Party

 

Is there anything that you include in your show now, that you wish you'd done/known when you started? (Not equipment, but in human/performer terms)

 

To not talk like a "DJ" but to speak like myself

 

Have you ever bought something for your show that you wish you hadnt? and why?

 

Light screens I hate the things and sold them 3 days after buying them.

 

Whats your next DJ purchase likely to be?

 

New Headphones my old ones are in bits

 

If you could get someone to invent a new piece of disco equipment for your show, what would it be?

Not such a big need for Mobile Discos at xmas as more people go to clubs and restaurants

Can you play abba, I cant believe you have not played any.....while i was playing abba and the previous track had been abba

and i have to agree there does seem to be less and less people going to hotels for xmas partys.
