Does anybody rack mount their wireless mic receivers? I'd love to get two of the Sennheisers and rack mount them next to each other. I know Senn. do a rack system but it's only any good for one receiver...and that isn't the one that comes with the Freeport.

If you go for Shure PGX's you can get 2 recievers onto a 1U rack shelf.

sennheiser do one for the freeport, it takes two and it costs about £50

Just thought I would follow this thread up as I finally bought a wireless mic a couple of weeks ago.

 

I went for the Trantec S4.4 UHF Radio Mic.

 

Got a bargain from Soundsavers:

Got the UHF mic, a boom stand and carry bag for the stand for just over £150.

 

Have to say it works faultlessly.

 

I set it up for a wedding the other week on the stand and it was perfect.

 

Would highly recomend this mic to anyone looking for a decent wireless mic on a budget!
