djgorey 0
I've decided to sell some bits to fund the building of some new speakers as I want to get into building my own, so here we go. Firstly, a pair of ASS Spektra SP9s single 18" reflex. Bought from SSE in Redditch on 30 October 2008 where they had been refurbished with a coat of paint, new speakons and grilles. I will admit that the paint finish from SSE seemed to be just the one coat so, if you wanted them perfect, I would do another coat. It's just on the edges and bottom that could do with touching up. They are B&C 500w loaded, 99dB/w/m and, as with everything ASS, will last longer than Scottish granite! Secondly, a Matrix XP2000 bought new in November to drive the above bins. 1kw per side at 4 Ohms, 600w per side into 8 Ohms. Never been redlined and always sent a clean signal. Always cased. It has an XP3000 face on it, but I can put you in touch with the manufacturer who probably either upgrade it to a 3000 for you or swap the face when he has a moment. I'm looking for offers around £700 for the amp and speakers as a whole lot. I will consider splitting, but would prefer to get rid of the amp only after I have sold the speakers. Finally, I'm also selling my dbx 223XL crossover - 2 way stereo, 3 way mono, XLR connectors. Always cased, as new condition, about 12 months old £65.00 I'm in Newport, South Wales and would prefer collection. I can post the crossover and can, if needs be, deliver the Speakers and amp for the cost of the petrol. You can fit the speakers in the back of a Mondeo with the seats down! Get those PMs in!
