bluebirdnips 0 Posted April 2, 2009 Report Share Posted April 2, 2009 hi guys just doing the thing letting you know im here old dog to the scene really but been away for a long (long) time opertunity came my way to run the local karaoke disco just before crimbo and now im bitten by the bug all over again, since then have worked every saturday and doing a fortnight gig on a sunday, using my hp laptop with 3g of ram and pcdjfx vrm got some borrowed speakers to start and an amp bought a mixer and some mics. called it the sticky back karaoke show seeing as we stuck it all together with tape n bluetak (bit taky i know but it stuck) since then have bought my own speakers and an amp (another story) now sent back (cheap import) so am buying a peavey seems strange to walk into the pub with a laptop and external H/D i missed the cd era went straight from 12 vinyl in the 80's to now with mp3's on H/D wont waffle on will leave it at that and hope to get help when setting up the new stuff, got lots of Q's about speakers n amps n bridging to ask later peeps Link to post Share on other sites
