How Many Tracks?

Recommended Posts

How many tracks are available at your finger tips at a typical gig (CD, digital file, DVD, etc.)

basic example:

CD - average 15 tracks per CD x 1200 = at least 18,000.

MP3 - 36,000

DVD (music videos) - 3000

Total = approx 57,000

by the way - this is only an example. I don't have the room to carry that much music around!

About 1500 CDs so thats approx 22,500

Just over 2500 7" singles

About 500 12" albums so another 7,500 there

A couple of hundred 12" singles

My MP3s are mainly from those plus a few hundred downloads.

So about 33,000 in total, loads of them will be duplicates though.

About 45000.
