Get a copy of Now 72 out last week.

Also search for recent threads on the forum. There was 1 last week giving an update of popular sounds over the last 6 months.

It's also worth checking out the "most downloaded" links on some of the download sites - I know www.7digital.co.uk have that sections and a top 20 dowloads.

Also have a look at national and local pop radio to see what they are playing. the Radio 1 web site has a playlist section so you can see what is getting regular air play. This is a good guide to what the kids like these days!

going off on a slite diversion, also try looking at the music used on TV adds at the moment - again 7 digilat have a section of current TV add music - as these may not be up to date tracks, but certainly music which a lot of people will know well as it blasts out at them all day from the TV.

Hope that helps

Just a couple ideas for your army night, at the min the most popular tracks are:

Lady Ga Ga - Poker Face

Saturdays - Just can't get enough

The Noisettes - Don't Upset The Rhythmn

Flo Rida - Right Round

Any pop music really, girls e they have had a drink will dance to anything once they have had a drink!!!

Good Luck
