Dukesy 0
Deary me.....so all you Bose/Mackie owners have wasted your money...if people think that's good !!! All ya need then All DJs waste money don't they?! The budget stereo came top of the annual online survey by Reevoo.com. Tesco Value MC-907 beat products by Roberts and Sony to take the gold award in the hi-fi-category..... ......this hi-fi isn't only about value. Just as importantly, it looks the part. Yep. Looks like the consumer knows a deal when they see one! smile icon
Robster 0
I used to work in the home Hi-Fi separates market and the difference in sound is plain as night and day BUT many customers are happy with good enough for the money. Is this unit great value for money..Yes Is it high fidelity...No We seem to have gone backwards in audio quality with many people happy with low bit rate MP3 tracks played on mobiles and tiny speakers and people think that it is good enough. The other systems on test were not high fidelity either! Hi-Fi is a generic term and is put on almost all systems that make a noise unfortunately. In a recession articles like this encourage people to herd towards cheap products like this .. its not good for music , retailers , lovers of Hi-Fi or UK jobs but hey its cheap. McCardle 1
Maybe they just think that some of todays music is low quality, so its pretty suited to a low bitrate playback medium tongue out icon "The voice of the devil is heard in our land" 'War doesn't determine who is right, war determines who is left, and you wont win this war.' Now tunes that sound ok on mobiles get more downloads Rob Star EntertainmentsFacebook pagelandline 0161 265 3421Mobile: 0777 99 777

McCardle 1
I recently bought a DAB clock radio. Absolute trash and a complete waste of money, and didn't work as well as the 13 year old digital clock radio which it was bought to replace. If that is 'improvement in technology' then they can stick it right up their aerial, it went back to the shop and the old one was pulled back out of the cupboard. Its like all of this digital switchover crap, will it improve the quality of the actual programs and content, or will it still be complete tat. D.X 0
Deary me.....so all you Bose/Mackie owners have wasted your money...if people think that's good !!! All ya need then I paid £1k for 2xS215s and 2xS218s. I'd say that was a bargain for such a system. Then again. Could probably just get some SupaDupaOMFGWTFROFLOLZ 1000000 jiggawatts speakers from maplins and no one would care or notice. Oh and High End Henry :bouncy: Mid-Range Mick ? spinner 0
Its like all of this digital switchover crap, will it improve the quality of the actual programs and content, or will it still be complete tat. You decide With terrestrial digital tv broadcasts there's no "ghosting" which can occur with poor analogue transmissions. The downside is that digital is "all or nothing" - you either receive a signal or you don't. More than once, on news programmes, I've noticed that remote reports - using digital uploading - have either broken up or failed completely for that reason. More digital programming can be contained in less bandwidth than its analogue counterpart. However, a good analogue picture is just as good as, if not better than, a digital one. Bearing in mind the "all or nothing" bit is digital really better?
