Gazz 0
No, I'm selling that all to buy a moped/scooter. That's why I want to know how much I would be able to get if I sold all of the above? I spent about £350 on it all, I was looking to get around £200-£250? Signature edited. I want to buy a moped/scooter. :p Check things out on ebay - the smoke machine is currently selling for £25+shipping You should search out past sales which should give a better guide. I'd recommend splitting it all and selling separately. You'll get a better price. If this isn't too attractive, try to bundle the sound (CDMix + Amp + Headphones), and then sell the lighting kit separately. The CDMix+Amp would make a good backup for someone (or a basic startup for someone starting out), and lighting is a bit personal so splitting will offer the most flexability. If you are planning on shipping, offer a discount for multiple items. I've got my bike back on the road, and have been riding this week (must explain my good mood :-) ) Jason Its Ok chaps.....i've got a reactionary 15 year old too. Me- I wanted to be a Train Driver, Astronaut or Scientist. Nowadays, I just fancy working for myself and getting out of the daily grind (but... if NASA does require a short, slightly balding, large built geek - I can be available! lol)
McCardle 1
Was I really that age once?? Yes, you were. But back in those days we didn't have cars and mopeds, people used Donkeys Gazz - are you sure that you want to sell your gear in order to buy this Moped. Why not use the equipment and charge friends for parties etc, and then put the money that you earn from the gigs to the Moped? Seems to me like you could earn money by doing something you enjoy, using the equipment and still get the moped? Better to build up the disco and start earning some cash, because by the time you are 17, you'll want a Subaru Impreza Edited April 22, 2009 by McCardle "The voice of the devil is heard in our land" 'War doesn't determine who is right, war determines who is left, and you wont win this war.' Keep the gear and go earn some money with it! ---------------------------- Thanks ... Dave Wired For Sound Discos

vokf 0
My thoughts precisely. Keep the gear - earn some money and plow that into the GSXR1100 scooter fund. You'll find your gear had depreciated since buying it. The best way to increase its value is to use it to earn some money from it. If you're sticking with house parties- then why not put a "tip" bin by the side of you? If someone asks for a track, get them to put a few quid in the tin... With 17 tracks/hr, a typial 5hr night could be pretty lucrative! The gear you are selling could help to earn you lots of money.. As said - £150 may be all you'll get - even at "60 quid sid" prices thats only a few gigs AND you'll still have your kit. You obviously have some ability, so selling up would be a waste of your time and effort.
