did my first gig last night and it went well, although I was told there was going to be around 100 people and there was 30 if your lucky!

Well done on your first , 30 out of 100 , thats not to bad , seems to be the norm at certain events.

Well done.........dont get disheartened we all get jobs like that

was a good night though and i enjoyed every second

Thats excellent news, being positive rubs off on the customers and can really turn gigs around

as i forgot the lighting poles

We are all guilty of forgetting something from simple lap top stands to amplifiers

Best wishes for the future

Well done, getting the first one under your belt is a fantastic feeling.

Once you are working regularly you'll find everything a lot easier.

If I have a break of a weekend or two I always have to triple check that everything's packed and ready to go - on Saturday I had to pull over half way to the show to check I had my speaker cables (they were there).

Cheers

Good to hear you've got your first gig under your belt. It's good init!!

I always try to move my gear close to the door first, check it's all there and then load up!

Didn't stop me leaving my speaker stands behind at a venue a few weeks back though!!! :aa
