djn_discos 0 Posted May 24, 2009 Report Share Posted May 24, 2009 did my first gig last night and it went well, althou i was told there was going to be around 100 people and there was 30 if your lucky! was a good night though and i enjoyed every second, apart from having to back homa as fast as the van could take me as i forgot the lighting poles :aa but otherwise all in all was good. cant wait for the next one now! Once you are working regularly you'll find everything a lot easier. If I have a break of a weekend or two I always have to triple check that everything's packed and ready to go - on Saturday I had to pull over half way to the show to check I had my speaker cables (they were there). It's good init!! I always try to move my gear close to the door first, check it's all there and then load up!
