Hall For 13th Birthday Required In Colchester, Essex

Recommended Posts

Hi,

its my daughters 13th next year, and she wants a big party.

She lives in Colchester, Essex.

Can anyone from that area recommend any village halls that are "DJ Friendly" (no sound monitors, ground floor easy parking etc).

I think there will be 60-80 kids, and it will be mid Feb 2010 on a Saturday night (7-10).

I'd like to get this booked asap.

I know there are a few guys in that area, so are hoping you can offer any suggestions...

Haven't done any teenage parties in the Colchester itself. Most have been in surrounding villages.

The venues I know that do teenage parties (but I haven't actually done any at these ones) are:

St Johns Church Hall, Ipswich Road, Colchester - it is mainly a Brownies hall but I don't have any contact details.

http://hythecommunitycentre.org.uk/?Facilities_and_Room_Hire - the main hall is upstairs but there is a lift

Other than that afraid I can't be much more help unless you would like me to ask on the Colchester Freecycle Net Cafe for recommendations.

Thanks for these Tony,

I don't think I can stretch to £200 for Saturday night in the Greanstead Centre (but will give them a call).

The stairs could be handy... Any trouble "Right! -*YOU* on the naughty stair!" lol

My ex won't have a clue, and I'll be arranging this myself (but not living close by makes it a bit tricky)

Cheers,

Jason
