djn_discos 0 Posted June 14, 2009 Report Share Posted June 14, 2009 (edited) ok im a mobile dj but i have got all the gear needed to do video dj and karaoke (screens and sofware) all i need is to know where u people get your music videos and karaoke videos from? i have a few music video dvds but you can't rip them to the laptop so how do you get around this? They now offer MPEG2 versions of the videos (on DVD), so you can copy tracks direct to your HDD. They also provide normal Video DVD's. If you're playing off a Laptop/PC, you'll probably want the MPEG2 version, as these will save you ripping from DVD. As a DJ@ member, you'll be entitled to a lifetime 15% discount from MixMash; http://www.djassociates.org/dj%20associati...20benefits.html For Karaoke, you can either download specific tracks (there are also links on the DJ@ homepage), or purchase CD's (some sites allow you to create your own CD), or purchase SunFLy etc either new or from ebay.
