Function from hell. Tell you more after!

Its not providing a Disco for a certain premier league footballer? :chad:

I'm playing my local pub on Saturday. Unload through a side window, mixed crowd and only a 200yds away.

I nipped out last night for some "research", and have a few requests from one of the regulars;

"Birthday Sex", by Jeremih

"It takes two", by Rob Base

Not sure if I really want to play the 1st request, its a typical slow RnB thing - but the 2nd request rocks :-)

Corp tonight...well last night now, it was the end of a 2 day conference and after the meal not too many of them returned for the party as they had to travel to all parts of the country. About 50 folk came in all together and it lasted till about 11.30pm and wasn't too bad a night.

Wedding tomorrow at a nice venue just outsie Chester for about 120 guests.

Saturday and Sunday I have 2 Weddings at one of my regular venues near Nantwich, problem is the room is used during the day on Sunday so no chance of leaving the kit in.

Monday its a graduation for 80 Army Nurses in birmingham...quite looking forward to that one :D

Just my Saturday night residency this weekend. I told them last week that I intend to leave. They plan to talk me out of it but, either way, I'll go in tomorrow night without a care in the world.

I'm a DJ based in Northern Ireland with nearly 10 years' experience offering a range of services. Including club residencies, karaoke, pub quizzes, specialised wedding service, Master of Ceremonies, Compere, Night at the Races and much more.

Did a Year 6 Leavers Disco last night. Pretty easy - Looking back at the playlist history many tracks came off Now 73 and the latest two Pro Discs! Nice big hall, but it echos so badly it makes it sound really bad. Still I was on a stage, and its one of the few places I can be trigger happy with the fog machine!

Managed to put Spinmasters on both t-bars this time, although I managed to knock some of the DMX dip switches on two of the spinmasters, so they didn't work initially. Oops! Time to replace them methinks!

Nothing else planned for this weekend - lots of paperwork and boring tax stuff

NO ONE touches my CD players!

If anybody tries to 'have a go' with your CD players or wants to use your mic this weekend. Tell them 'NO'

When they ask why, reply that you have just come down with Swine Flu and you don't want them to catch it :D

Then watch them head for the horizon.

What even if they throw punches with the speed and stlye of a professional boxer?

professional boxer or not, but they'd have to be bloody stupid to continue, in light of what you'd just told them.

Well it was a workemens club where it was, and the last place i would get wedding doo in, but the only nice venue in Sunderland is the Quayside Exchange, which a lot of people simply can't afford.

A venue where I'm a preferred supplier has started doing weddings but can only do 75 covers, however it is already getting great reviews, esp the disco :P

He borrowed my deck stand and starcloth which give it the edge it needed! He can't afford it at the moment but he said he does plan to purchase one.

The actual night started slow, and it looked like a poor night. The request list was air guitar rock and a the few artists named included

>Van Halen

>Bon Jovi

>Queen

>Bad Company

>Rainbow

Chart music at first to get it out the way!

Buffet time... Got fed :) had curry which was lush! Added advantage!

A few more arrived by this point. As being a roady I stepped back and let John take over. He was struggling and didnt want to go into rock I said try it. He said you try it :P

So I did... It worked! Result! Air guitar rock for a solid hour rocking right out!

Last orders 10.50 Music off 11

One more bridage (I finished 3mins early to accomdate this... John played YMCA and everyone in the room joined in.

So slow start but good night.

It's funny how a bit of the old soft rock sometimes is better than the cheesy classics to get bums moving.

The thing is it also gets the blokes up too.

Glad it was a good night.
