kevvyb 0
Did a joint 21st and engagement party on Sat and it was quality, everyone in fancy dress so played all the music they was dressed up as and got them up in turn. Was supposed to play until 12.30 but was ordered by the management to plat another hour for extra money(which I happily obliged!) and just played mainly oldschool for the last hour. All in all was an amazing night with plenty of business cards gave out. :joe: Got a joint birthday this friday and then a 21st on saturday..I just love the fact that I never know what to expect!! :lol2:

Oh how about Soul II Soul - Joy? Or Kenny Thomas? Or....how about Sabrina Johnson (Peace)? What about Bobby Brown Humpin Around? Sydney Youngblood - If Only I Could? Just some ideas... MintyDave 0
Well i have just had nearly a month off for local music festival (did the can can with buster blood vessel), chill relax and take a holiday, hang on you cant holiday chill & relax at the same time. Drove 1300 miles in 10 days and spent 9 sleepless nights in a tent. Smart idea. Had a couple of small gigs to do in between but nothing exciting (kids party and pub karaoke) Saturday - Wedding - Smallish venue and my first encounter with a sound level meter which i have to plug into - Should be fun as i have been told its set quite low and is very sensative. sunday - Kids Party 2-4pm sunday - Wedding 8pm to 1am Back in at the deep end with a clean os install on the laptop and numark cue updated to VDJ pro 6.01. so far its been bomb proof. CD collection will be on hand needless to say. Have a good one - will report back with any exciting news Richmond Karaoke & Disco - Professional Mobile Disco Service For North Yorkshire - www.rkdisco.co.uk

Had a chalk and cheese wedding weekend. Went to York on Saturday for a wedding and struggled most of the night, there was and older crowd and we threw in a good mix of 60's, motown, 70's, and disco with no interest. Some 80's tracks raised a few but it was the classic rock tracks (bon jovi, bryan adams) that got things going a bit of indie from supergrass & james raised the roof and led us into the cheesy classics for the last hour. Saved at the last minute! Sunday did a wedding for an old mate and as he had supplied a 75 song request list full of really good songs it was a text book gig. They loved everything and the floor was busy all night with the usual last hour climax. The acoustics of the room were the best i have ever encountered. Lots of soft furnishings and on the mic my voice was really clear as i had to do a lot of introductions & announcements etc. Richmond Karaoke & Disco - Professional Mobile Disco Service For North Yorkshire - www.rkdisco.co.uk

Sunday.....Alton Towers for a day out and to check out the hospitality suite for a forthcoming function.
