Proficient and passionate Djs required - to establish regular nights at a elegant bar/party venue in the centre of Leicester. Djs applying should have some experience of the Leicester scene and be willing to promote their night. The venue is based in the cultural quarter, having 2 floors with different ambience.

Thursday,Friday or Saturday could be available. The night will be with a retro feel with music of different genres ie motown, 70s, 80s, soul etc...........

First floor has capacity of 120 and upper floor has capacity of 80.

Entertainment Positions on Board Cruise Ships

Cruise Ship Disc Jockey: Should have a diverse music foundation to span the generations of the passengers – hotel, resort or nightclub experience preferred. Fluent English Language skills required.

Salary: $1,800 - $2,500 US per month (approx £900 – £1,250 per month)

 

Cruise Ship Lighting and Sound technicians: Assisting in running the production shows and any activities that require technical assistance – technical and practical education and/or hands on experience required.

Salary: $1,800 - $2,200 US per month (approx £900 - £1,100 per month)

 

Cruise Ship Television/Videographer: Should have a minimum of one/two years experience in television production with specific technical experience in editing, camera operation and “behind the scenes”. Must have a highly technical background in film, video and television production.

Salary: $2,200 - $3,200 US per month (approx £1,100 - £1,600 per month)

About The Job

 

School leaver or college student with a love for music or some dj experience wanted for small family run mobile disco and Dj agency.

 

You should have some equipment experience and be able to do some physical lifting, moving speakers.

Rate of pay is £30 per night to start, on a self employed basis with a view to train you up to learn all aspects of mobile disco, Dj agency.

 

We are preferably looking for someone with a long term view and a genuine passion for the industry.

Late nights, week-ends and anti-social hours are the main stay of our work.

We work with high profile national Djs as well as local weddings and birthdays parties in and around Kent.

So a driving licence is essential.

 

This position would ideally suit a music tech or similar student.
