Dj Mark 'luvdup' Van Den Berg To Host Panel Session At Bpm 200

Recommended Posts

This year's BPM will feature a series of eight panel sessions running across the weekend. These unique presentations will offer an opportunity for visitors to learn from industry professionals with experience in their particular fields. Each session will last for approximately 45 minutes and involve a different panel discussing a different relevant topic and also answering questions from the audience.

The panel sessions will run alongside the rest of the BPM seminar programme in a separate dedicated room. All visitors will be welcome to be a part of the audience for which ever panel sessions interest them, however seats will be limited.

Mark ‘Luvdup’ van den Berg has been entertaining clubbers the world over for over twenty-seven years. With his unbridled sense of humour, notorious clubbing antics and brilliant selection of energetic and funky party music, Mark is one of the most instantly recognisable characters in worldwide clubbing. Mark has played in every major club in the land as well as throughout Europe and beyond. Canada, Australia, the USA, Russia, the Philippines, Indonesia, Hong Kong and South Africa are all visited regularly - as well as Ibiza's massive Sundance parties (made infamous by the 'Ibiza Uncovered' series), Cyprus, Greece, Bulgaria, Latvia and the Netherlands. The atmosphere that he creates when playing has seen some strange encounters on the dancefloor. He's had marriage proposals, the odd divorce and has even caused one fair maiden to slip into early labour - such is his inimitable style!

It's not just the DJing that has established his name so strongly, as Mark has caused quite a stir with his production and remix career. He has worked on over 40 remixes for such well-known acts as Womack and Womack, M People and The Charlatans. His own material has received such critical accolades as Pete Tong's Essential New Tune on Radio 1, and Mixmag Update magazine's single of the week. As well as all this, the mixing duties on several dance compilations have won him a couple of gold discs to hang up in the bathroom and an appearance on Radio 1's Essential Mix show was awarded a very high 8.5 out of 10 rating.

Mark is also the Project manager of Mixmash!

The panel also includes:

Carl Kennedy

David Dunne

Shaun 'Banger' Scott
