vokf 0
Nothing for me - still out of the UK, should be back next week, then planning Halloween Gig. Considering getting the mixmash Halloween DVD's - but need to check playback/cables etc.. Feeling a bit "Alan Partridge" here, surviving on room service and living out of a suitcase. Should be out on the town tonight though. Anyway - what are YOU up to?
MintyDave 0
Nothing regarding Dj'ing this weekend other than a bit of fixing tinkering + pondering etc. Planning application for an extension was approved on monday so its all go at home - where do you put all the 'stuff' from your garage and what is the 'stuff' and why is it there. Could be the last weekend off before january so will try to make the most of it Have a good weekend Richmond Karaoke & Disco - Professional Mobile Disco Service For North Yorkshire - www.rkdisco.co.uk

davemoody 0
Just woke up after a late night and just seeing what was going on. Busy old weekend again..... Friday in Exeter at a wedding....good night. Saturday Wedding in Carlisle...really cracking crowd but didnt finish playing till 2am. Was supposed to be up there again tonight for a 50th birthday but they cancelled at the last minute because the birthday girl wasnt feeling very well. So was going to stop over somewhere but decided to drive back. After packing up didnt get back home until 9am!! Was going to stay awake.....that lasted about half an hour when I fell aslepp on the settee downstairs!!! Managed to get a last minute local gig in a bar in Lichfield. Thought I would give a pub a go after a few years. They just want general mix of stuff, nothing too heavy or hardcore so should be OK. Early finish at 11.30 as well. Hope everyone else is OK and hopefully we just need to ride out the recession and see what happens. Already looking better for next year with weddings anyway.
djgb 0
Did a wedding last night. Things run late they didnt have a first dance till about 10.30ish then I had to finish @ 01.00. So nice easy night in that respect but it was over an hour and 1/2 to get there, home @ 03.30 packed away by 4. I dont know about you but after driving that long at night its hard to switch off and relax. Ahh the joys of being a mobile dj eh LOL!!!! But it was all good and got a couple of potential bookings from it. :good: Cheers all G.
